Ok, so when we booked this unit, we were told to bring linen and there was a log fire. We weren't told in any brochure that we had to buy our own fire wood, which was quite expensive and hard to find in Torquay. You need to leave a supply of paper to start the fire with as we didn't realize that wasn't supplied either. When I've stayed at other rentals, linen is usually sheet bedding and towels. This unit didn't have a bath mat, hand towel or a tea towel. How were we meant to do your dishes if you don't supply a tea towel? The 1/4 roll of toilet paper supplied ran out, so that's another thing we had to buy. The unit was lovely but these extra costs were an inconvenience to us. Please store the vacuum cleaner in a cupboard, not in the bathroom, because no-one wants to see that in a bathroom when they're on holiday and in the spa. The cleanliness was great because there are signs that tell us we have to vacuum and clean up before we go, that's something else we've never been instructed to do at a rental. Tidy, yes, but not vacuum and clean.
